Erie Elementary School’s Weekly Newsletter

Dear Parents and Guardians,

What a great week! Honestly, every week is great in our school. We had our last assemblies on Thursday and we recapped all of our character traits that we learned this year. It is so awesome to hear our students from preschool up to 5th grade talk about what it means to have integrity, be a good citizen, show responsibility, persevere and have empathy. I encourage you to ask your child what these mean. Our school wide goal this year was that our students would understand and be able to define these words. Not only have students achieved this, but I see them acting it out every day. We read shout outs that students write for each other on a daily basis and students remind us on the announcements that We are….Erie Tigers!

As a reminder, we have no school Monday, April 27th. Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you all back on Tuesday!

Safety

Please do not have students access the fields in the mornings right before or right after school. In the spring, we start to have before and after school programs running and we cannot have other students on the fields. In addition, our Tigger Time program will be using the field more often as the weather warms up and, due to licensing, they cannot have other students on the field at the same time. Thank you for your help with this!

Tigger Time Opportunities

Registration is now open for before and after school care for next year. For more information see the Tigger Time information newsletter.

ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool

St. Vrain Valley Schools will begin using ParentSquare, a new district communication tool that allows families to receive notifications based on their preferences. St. Vrain’s communications team will pilot ParentSquare for the remainder of the school year with the plan to expand access to schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year. We’re excited about the opportunities ParentSquare offers to streamline communication and will be working towards consolidating several of the tools families currently use into one convenient platform.

After spring break, parents and guardians will receive an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account. This will allow families to download the mobile app, set language preferences, and choose how and when they receive notifications.

Visit the district website to learn more about ParentSquare.
