Our school library and media center provides many opportunities for students to develop a love for reading and find many resources to engage their interests. Additionally, St. Vrain Valley Schools offers one of the largest digital libraries of any public school district in the U.S. with thousands of books available for checkout.

Welcome to Erie Elementary Media Center. We offer an inviting environment for everyone. Come sit a spell to volunteer, read, build some imagination or just visit. Let me know if you can’t find what you are looking for.

Overdue Policy:

When your child’s books are overdue their borrowing privileges are suspended until his/her books are returned.  Your student may bring home an overdue notice or you may be contacted by email. Please help them to find their book(s) and return to the library book drop as soon as possible. In the case of damaged or lost books fee/fines are payable with cash, check at school during the school year or  Credit Cards through Infinite Campus at the end of the school year. Thanks for helping your child to be a responsible library patron.

Book Donations – Cash donations are always welcome. Money collected from donations and fines is used to purchase new and replacement titles for our collection. If you would like to make a book donation to the library please connect with Mrs. Cloud – topic, age, condition and binding are all considered for books added to the collection. Thank you for your generosity.

myON Reader

Erie Elementary is investing in your students by providing access to myON reader, a digital library with hundreds of digital books from Capstone Digital! myON reader can be accessed anywhere in school, at home, or wherever there is Internet access! Students and parents can access these digital books for individual reading, homework, research, and fun! Families are encouraged to spend time together reading and learning with myON reader.

All digital books are complete with optional reading supports – highlighting and audio – and glossary to help increase reading achievement. MyON reader covers fiction genres and nonfiction titles ranging from monsters and sports to biographies and health topics. All of the digital books are created to help you expand your imagination into the digital world of reading.

  • a new page will open ~ click on “Students and Most Teachers”
  • log on with individual student login information.
