Erie Elementary School’s Weekly Newsletter

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Happy Friday! I wish you could all experience the amazingness of the staff and students at Erie Elementary this week during CMAS testing. Even though its only 3-5th grade, the whole building is supporting. Some of the lower grade classes made inspirational posters for the upper grades to encourage them to do their best. The younger students have been so quiet in the mornings and we even saw a couple of them tip-toeing in the hallway! The staff has had to work around schedule changes and have been so accommodating. And, of course, the students taking CMAS have been working so hard to show us what they know! I am always proud to be the principal of this school, but this week I have been especially proud.

Speaking of being proud, I had the honor of attending the third grade and Roar in Harmony concert this week at Erie High School. There was such an amazing turnout. I hope you all know how lucky we are to have Mrs. Schultz. She does an incredible job with our students and the concert was spectacular! A special shout out to Erie High School for allowing us to use the auditorium for the event!

There are a lot of SVVSD opportunities coming up, so make sure to check them out! I hope you all have a great weekend!

Safety

Please do not have students access the fields in the mornings right before or right after school. In the spring, we start to have before and after school programs running and we cannot have other students on the fields. In addition, our Tigger Time program will be using the field more often as the weather warms up and, due to licensing, they cannot have other students on the field at the same time. Thank you for your help with this!

Tigger Time Opportunities

Registration is now open for before and after school care for next year. For more information see the Tigger Time information newsletter.

ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool

St. Vrain Valley Schools will begin using ParentSquare, a new district communication tool that allows families to receive notifications based on their preferences. St. Vrain’s communications team will pilot ParentSquare for the remainder of the school year with the plan to expand access to schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year. We’re excited about the opportunities ParentSquare offers to streamline communication and will be working towards consolidating several of the tools families currently use into one convenient platform.

After spring break, parents and guardians will receive an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account. This will allow families to download the mobile app, set language preferences, and choose how and when they receive notifications.

Visit the district website to learn more about ParentSquare.
