Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope you have had a great week! Our 3-5th graders showed amazing perseverance in completing all of the CMAS tests. Great work everyone! Speaking of great work, I hope some of you were able to go to the district art show this week. If you don’t already know, Mrs. Nicholson does such a beautiful job of building a display that represents so many of the kids’ art pieces. And, this year, the kindergartners collaborated with the middle school art class to make “stuffy art”. Kindergarten drew a picture and middle schoolers re-created it into a stuffy! So much fun to work with our fellow Tigers. Thank you EMS. Have a great weekend!

Preschool Registration
Registration for St. Vrain Valley Schools’ 2026-27 preschool programs begin Dec. 9, 2025. Families can choose from high-quality, five-day programs, including half-day and select full-day options at schools across St. Vrain. The Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK) application is included in St. Vrain’s form, and families are encouraged to apply early for the best chance of placement at their preferred school.

Safety
Please do not have students access the fields in the mornings right before or right after school. In the spring, we start to have before and after school programs running and we cannot have other students on the fields. In addition, our Tigger Time program will be using the field more often as the weather warms up and, due to licensing, they cannot have other students on the field at the same time. Thank you for your help with this!

ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool
St. Vrain Valley Schools will begin using ParentSquare, a new district communication tool that allows families to receive notifications based on their preferences. St. Vrain’s communications team will pilot ParentSquare for the remainder of the school year with the plan to expand access to schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year. We’re excited about the opportunities ParentSquare offers to streamline communication and will be working towards consolidating several of the tools families currently use into one convenient platform.
After spring break, parents and guardians will receive an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account. This will allow families to download the mobile app, set language preferences, and choose how and when they receive notifications.

Please remember we do not allow animals on school property during school hours. If you bring a pet with you when picking up or dropping off your child it must remain on the public sidewalk or in vehicle. Thank you for keeping our kids and each other safe and comfortable at school.
Volunteer Opportunities
If you would like to volunteer in at school there are so many ways to do so. You can reach our to your child’s teacher to see what they may need. Our wonderful PTCO also is a great way to find out about how to volunteer. If you are planning to volunteer, we need you to fill out this form and turn it in to the front office.
