Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope you had a great week and can enjoy the wonderful weather this weekend. I wanted to make you aware of a staff change. I am sad to announce that Maggie Sisk, our Assistant Principal, will not be returning next year. We have been so grateful for the impact that Mrs. Sisk has made at Erie Elementary this year and we wish her the best in all of her future endeavors. Please see Mrs. Sisk’s message below:
Dear Erie Elementary Families,
I want to let you know that I will be stepping away from my role as Assistant Principal at the end of this school year. After much reflection, I’ve made the decision to take a step back in order to spend more time with my young daughters during these important early years.
Although I’ve only been at Erie for a year, it has been a meaningful experience to be part of this dedicated and caring community. I’ve appreciated the opportunity to support our students, work alongside a fantastic staff, and connect with so many of you.
This was not an easy decision, and I will truly miss being part of the day-to-day here. I hope to stay connected in new ways moving forward and will continue cheering on the incredible work happening at Erie Elementary.
Thank you for your partnership and support,
Maggie Sisk
While I am sad to see Mrs. Sisk go, I am excited to welcome Shelley Neher as our new Assistant Principal. Mrs. Neher is a long time Assistant Principal in our district and she is currently at Red Hawk full time. Next year she will be splitting her time between Red Hawk and Erie Elementary. She has covered our building on numerous occasions over the years so she already knows our community well so she can hit the ground running.
As always thank you for your partnership and please reach out with any questions, concerns or feedback.
