Erie Elementary School’s Weekly Newsletter

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope you enjoyed a great long weekend with the family last weekend. Thank you again for another great week! It was so cold this week that we didn’t get a lot of outside time, but the kids were amazing. Luckily, the past couple of days we have been able to get some fresh air. However, our wonderful PTCO, in collaboration with our Student Tiger Leaders purchased some great indoor activities that kids can have fun with in the event of an indoor recess. Thank you PTCO!

Have a great weekend and stay warm!

From Erie High School

The students of Erie High School’s Student Government have joined together to host a Wish Week to raise money for Make-A-Wish® Colorado and help create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.  We would like to invite you to join us and help grant wishes for kids like Edwin and his wish to go to Walt Disney World.

These wishes are unique, powerful and life-changing. Wishes have proven physical and emotional benefits that can give children with critical illnesses a higher chance of survival. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope. A wish transforms the lives of children, their families, volunteers, supporters, medical professionals, and entire communities.

Help us to transform the lives of these deserving kids. There are lots of ways your school community can get involved! Our Wish Week will be held February 24-28th, 2025,  and we invite you to participate in our events throughout the week. Below  is a list of Wish Week events, including restaurant nights.  Please share this information with your school community and encourage them to support the week by eating at the various restaurants!
