Dear Parents and Guardians,
I cannot believe it is here, but this will be the last newsletter of the school year. Everyone always asks me if I am looking forward to having some “peace and quiet” at school and my answer is always no! If I am at work, I want the kids to be here. I truly miss them when they are gone and the students are the very best part of my job. That being said, I hope you have some quality time with them this summer and I hope they thoroughly enjoy their time off. I will be excited for you to hand them back to us in the fall.
I want to thank you for being such a wonderful community. It is hard to believe that I am finishing up my 2nd year with you all. I appreciate all of the support, feedback and collaboration that we get from you to make our school an even better place to be. I am so proud to be a part of this team. As the kids say every day on our announcements; We are Erie Tigers!
Have a wonderful, restful summer break.

Safety
Please do not have students access the fields in the mornings right before or right after school. In the spring, we start to have before and after school programs running and we cannot have other students on the fields. In addition, our Tigger Time program will be using the field more often as the weather warms up and, due to licensing, they cannot have other students on the field at the same time. Thank you for your help with this!
Tigger Time Opportunities
Registration is now open for before and after school care for next year. For more information see the Tigger Time information newsletter.

St. Vrain Valley Schools’ Community Schools program is now enrolling for the 2026-2027 school year. High-quality care options are available for children from birth through fifth grade, with nurturing environments and developmentally appropriate experiences that support early learning, social growth, and a strong foundation for future success. Programs are available at different schools across the district, with flexible schedule options to meet your family’s needs.

ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool
St. Vrain Valley Schools will begin using ParentSquare, a new district communication tool that allows families to receive notifications based on their preferences. St. Vrain’s communications team will pilot ParentSquare for the remainder of the school year with the plan to expand access to schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year. We’re excited about the opportunities ParentSquare offers to streamline communication and will be working towards consolidating several of the tools families currently use into one convenient platform.
After spring break, parents and guardians will receive an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account. This will allow families to download the mobile app, set language preferences, and choose how and when they receive notifications.
Visit the district website to learn more about ParentSquare.
