Hello!

My name is Robin Cummings! I am originally from Boulder/ Longmont, Colorado and I actually went to school myself in the St. Vrain Valley School District.  When I graduated High School, I moved out to Northern California where I got my B.A. at Humboldt State University, my M.A. in Elementary Education at Western Governors University, and met my hilarious husband.  We recently had our first child, an incredible baby girl, at which point we decided it was time to make a move to be closer to family.  We made the move to Colorado in September and I was fortunate enough to join the amazing team at Erie Elementary!

I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade and I just marvel at the differences of each age group! My absolutely favorite thing about teaching is how passionate the kids get when they are truly engaged in their learning.

My interests outside of teaching include spending as much time with family, friends, and pets as possible, reading, music, camping, hiking, and pretty much any other outside activity! 

It has been amazing getting to know all the students, parents, and staff at Erie Elementary and I am so so so excited to be part of the Erie Elementary family. I cannot wait to see what adventures this year has in store!
