Bio

I have been teaching in St. Vrain Valley School District since 2004, and I am super excited to be teaching 1st grade at Erie Elementary again this year!

In my classroom I believe every child is a learner and a teacher. We work hard every day on being safe, being ready to learn and caring for each other. I am looking forward to working with the wonderful community at Erie Elementary.

I moved to Colorado in the summer of 2000 from NY. Before moving to CO I received an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at LeMoyne College. When I moved to CO I attended CU Boulder where I received a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Development with a focus in Literacy at CU Boulder. I live in Northwest Denver with my husband, Mike. We have 2 boys: AJ, who is in high school, and Sean who is in middle school.

In my free time I enjoy being outside in the amazing outdoors of Colorado, having family dinners, snowboarding, hiking with friends, and going for walks with my dog!!
