Bio

I have been teaching in St. Vrain Valley School District  since 2004, and I am super excited to be teaching 1st grade at Erie Elementary this year!  I feel so lucky to say that I enjoy my job being a teacher and a learner.

In my classroom I believe every child is a learner and a teacher.  We work hard every day on being safe, being ready to learn and caring for each other.  My classroom door is always open and I am looking forward to working with such a wonderful community at Erie Elementary.

I moved to Colorado in the summer of 2000 from NY.  Before moving to CO I received an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education.  When I moved to CO I attended CU Boulder where I received a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Development with a focus in Literacy.  I live in Northwest Denver with my husband, Mike.  We have 2 wonderful little boys:  AJ who is 10 and Sean who is 6.

I enjoy snowboarding, hiking with friends and just being outdoors.
