I’ve been teaching preschool in beautiful Colorado since 2006 and have been part of the wonderful community at Erie Elementary since 2016. I earned my Psychology degree from Carnegie Mellon University and my Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) from the University of Northern Colorado. Before joining Erie, I spent six years teaching in private preschools as an early childhood teacher.

I love creating a warm, supportive classroom where children feel safe to explore, grow, and be curious. I’m especially passionate about fostering a love for literacy, nature and math. I’m always learning new ways to bring creativity and curiosity into our classroom through district and early childhood trainings.

Outside of school, I love going on adventures with my husband and three kids—biking, hiking, camping, kayaking, and playing games when it’s chilly.
