I’m a scientist that loves to teach!

I’ve worked in industrial chemistry, academia research, and been a high school science teacher, but I’ve now found my dream-job:  sharing my passion and skills in science with Erie Elementary kiddos!

All students (Kindergarten through 5th Graders) get to come to my lab for 45 minutes once a week.  In my lab, students are presented with S.T.E.M. lessons and activities beyond the classroom grade-level standards where the 21st-centuries skills of communication, collaboration, and kindness are emphasized.  I developed my curriculum as a 3-year rotation of thematic units based on Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), gaps in classroom resources for the State of Colorado Science Standards, and Erie Elementary student assessment data.
