I grew up in the beautiful mountains of Boulder, Colorado and received my B.A. in Sociology from C.U. with a minor in criminology. I worked my way through college teaching multiple forms of dance and enjoyed it so much, I continued to do so part-time for 17 years. Before teaching at Erie Elementary, I worked as a youth counselor, choreographer, substitute teacher and behavior coach. I have been teaching at Erie Elementary since 2008 and each year I look forward to working with the unique and wonderful kiddos that grace my classroom community.

I am married to an amazing husband, and have two fabulous boys. Both my children started their academic journey right here at Erie Elementary!  When I am not at school, you might find me at the yoga studio, riding my bike, reading a book, traveling, or playing volleyball. This is an amazing community and town, and I am proud to both live and work here!
