Erie Elementary School’s Weekly Newsletter

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is hard to believe we are entering the final stretch of the school year. While the (sometimes) warmer weather and longer days are a welcome change, I want to emphasize that the learning hasn’t slowed down. Our teachers and students are working harder than ever to master year-end goals and bridge the gap to the next grade level. April is a time to stay disciplined, keep up with routines, and arrive at school ready to grow. I am so excited to see all of the growth that our students are showing on our end of year assessments. Thank you for your continued partnership in their education!

Music News

Hello Roar In Harmony families!

First, let me say, that your kids were OUTSTANDING at the festival last week. Voices? Lovely. Behavior? On point!  Basically, they are they very coolest kids ever.

Speaking of kids, they have requested a Friday morning practice. Both because our concert feels VERY close to our last performance(concert on Monday!) and we want some extra time, and because it sounds like a good way to start a Friday. I would love to have all singers on Friday morning at 8:15 for those able to join!

There are a few weird details to our schedule next week, such as have choir Monday instead of Tuesday! See all date/concert info below. Thanks everyone!!     -Anna

Safety

Please do not have students access the fields in the mornings right before or right after school. In the spring, we start to have before and after school programs running and we cannot have other students on the fields. In addition, our Tigger Time program will be using the field more often as the weather warms up and, due to licensing, they cannot have other students on the field at the same time. Thank you for your help with this!

ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool

St. Vrain Valley Schools will begin using ParentSquare, a new district communication tool that allows families to receive notifications based on their preferences. St. Vrain’s communications team will pilot ParentSquare for the remainder of the school year with the plan to expand access to schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year. We’re excited about the opportunities ParentSquare offers to streamline communication and will be working towards consolidating several of the tools families currently use into one convenient platform.

After spring break, parents and guardians will receive an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account. This will allow families to download the mobile app, set language preferences, and choose how and when they receive notifications.

Visit the district website to learn more about ParentSquare.
