Erie Elementary School’s Weekly Newsletter

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for another wonderful week with your students. It is always an exciting week leading up to Spring Break especially with the nice weather we have been having. I hope that your family is able to take some time off together and enjoy the week.

Just a couple of quick safety requests:

  1. If you walk or bike with your student, please make sure to use the designated crosswalks and do not walk between buses.
  2. If you pick up your child from the pick up lane, please make sure they enter from the passenger side.

I always appreciate any other feedback you might have about safety issues or any other topic that you would like to share. Stay healthy and we will see you back on the 23rd!

ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool

St. Vrain Valley Schools will begin using ParentSquare, a new district communication tool that allows families to receive notifications based on their preferences. St. Vrain’s communications team will pilot ParentSquare for the remainder of the school year with the plan to expand access to schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year. We’re excited about the opportunities ParentSquare offers to streamline communication and will be working towards consolidating several of the tools families currently use into one convenient platform.

After spring break, parents and guardians will receive an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account. This will allow families to download the mobile app, set language preferences, and choose how and when they receive notifications.

Visit the district website to learn more about ParentSquare.
