I hope you had a great long weekend last week. It looks like winter is trying to arrive here in late February so we may be in for a colder one this weekend. You may have heard that this week was St. Vrain Kindness Week. It was great seeing all of the acts of kindness going on around our school. What is even better is that most of these things happen every single day, we just chose to highlight them this week. You all have wonderful kids and we love having them here at Erie Elementary. Thank you for trusting us to teach and take care of your children. Who can come: Anyone!
What should kids wear: Anything that they would be happy to perform in!

What to know: Please don’t come early and save seats during other classes’ performances. It makes it less fun for families to come watch their kids perform.

Join us for Kindergarten Information Night on February 26th from 5:00-6:00 at Erie Elementary! Meet our teachers, explore our classrooms, and learn more about our exceptional programming. We look forward to welcoming our fall kindergarten families.
Preschool Registration
Registration for St. Vrain Valley Schools’ 2026-27 preschool programs begin Dec. 9, 2025. Families can choose from high-quality, five-day programs, including half-day and select full-day options at schools across St. Vrain. The Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK) application is included in St. Vrain’s form, and families are encouraged to apply early for the best chance of placement at their preferred school.

Volunteer at the Colorado VEX V5RC Robotics State Championships
The Colorado VEX V5RC Robotics State Championships are seeking volunteers for various roles on Friday and Saturday March 6 and 7th. Please remember we do not allow animals on school property during school hours. If you bring a pet with you when picking up or dropping off your child it must remain on the public sidewalk or in vehicle. Thank you for keeping our kids and each other safe and comfortable at school.
Volunteer Opportunities
If you would like to volunteer in at school there are so many ways to do so. You can reach our to your child’s teacher to see what they may need. Our wonderful PTCO also is a great way to find out about how to volunteer. If you are planning to volunteer, we need you to fill out this form and turn it in to the front office.
