Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope you have had a wonderful week! If you don’t follow us on social media, you may have missed some exciting news. Our Erie Tigers won 3rd place in district for the Winter Reading Challenge! I am so proud of all of our readers and thank you for participating in this challenge. Besides being a fun challenge, there has been a ton of research on the positive effects that reading has on the brain. Go Tigers!
Parent teacher conferences are coming up quickly! Here is a link to schedule your conference. Your teacher will also send this as well as some instructions in their newsletter. Please remember, due to the number of conferences we have and the desire to spend quality time at each conference, we offer one conference per family so you will need to coordinate a mutual time if you have a split household. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Finally, just a reminder that there is no school on Monday, January 20th as we observe the Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service. We will see you on Tuesday the 21st!

Preschool-aged families who live in St. Vrain Valley are invited to a magical, musical evening featuring a special reading of Emilia Tries the Cello by local teacher, author, and cellist Dr. Katarina M. Pliego. Accompanied by members of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, this enchanting story will come to life with a selection of short musical pieces ranging from classical to pop. During the experience, children will have the opportunity to play a variety of instruments and even create their own, blending STEM principles with musical creativity.
