We loved seeing so many of you at parent teacher conferences this week. We are still looking forward to seeing some of you on October 9th. If you haven’t signed up, there is till time; here is the link again. Please let us know if you need any help. As a reminder we offer one conference per family.
The Jog a Thon was a huge success! It was so fun seeing so many families come out to root on their students. And, we know that not everyone can make it during the work day, but were cheering your kids from afar! Our wonderful PTCO in conjunction with our school staff (especially Mrs. Apple) really made this a huge success and we so appreciate all of your support!

Complete the form for EACH student that attends EES. If you completed the form last year, you need to complete it again this year. The deadline to be included is October 1st! Pets on Campus:
Please remember we do not allow animals on school property during school hours. If you bring a pet with you when picking up or dropping off your child it must remain on the public sidewalk or in your vehicle. Thank you for keeping our kids and each other safe and comfortable at school.

St. Vrain Valley Schools offers a variety of high-quality early childhood education options, including preschool and wraparound pre-k care programs, designed to meet the needs of families in our communities. St. Vrain Valley’s programs provide a comprehensive and supportive learning environment for our youngest learners. Space is still available at various district locations for children ages 3 to 5.

St. Vrain Valley Schools Hosts Band Night, Oct. 9
Support our high school band musicians! Join us at Everly-Montgomery Field in Longmont on Wednesday, October 9 at 6:00 p.m. for St. Vrain Valley’s Band Night. This evening of music features performances from nine high school bands. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children 6 and under and eighth grade students with a valid student ID. New this year: St. Vrain Valley Schools’ Student Performance Drone Team will conclude the evening with a show celebrating music across our schools.

Safe Kids Presentation
A child safety class will be facilitated at Erie Elementary School, to K-5 students, during the weeks of Oct 14 and 21. More information can be found in your child’s Friday folders. Please complete this one question survey to indicate whether or not you give your child permission to participate in this important program.

We are thrilled to share that all St. Vrain Valley students in kindergarten through 3rd grade are eligible for a $50 scholarship through the 529 Jump program! This St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation program, in partnership with the City of Longmont, is designed to help families start saving for future college expenses through a 529 College Savings Account.

St. Vrain is Hiring: Visit Our Support Staff Job Fair – Oct. 14
St. Vrain Valley Schools is hosting a Support Staff Job Fair on Monday, October 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Main Street School, 820 Main St., Longmont. Community members are invited to explore a variety of roles in education, from paraprofessionals and custodians to transportation and clerical staff, all focused on making a meaningful impact on students’ lives. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with St. Vrain leaders, discuss current job openings, learn more about employee benefits, and receive assistance with submitting online applications.

Volunteer Opportunities
If you would like to volunteer in at school there are so many ways to do so. You can reach our to your child’s teacher to see what they may need. Our wonderful PTCO also is a great way to find out about how to volunteer. If you are planning to volunteer, we need you to fill out this form and turn it in to the front office.
