Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope you had a great week! We are looking forward to seeing so many of you next week at parent teacher conferences! Don’t forget to peruse the lost and found while you are here to make sure that your lost items do not get donated next Friday. Any smaller items are kept in the front office so stop by and ask if you are missing any smaller items. There will be someone in the office each evening that can help you. Also, don’t forget to swing by the library to visit our book fair during conference nights. There are so many great books and you will be supporting our school by purchasing!
As a reminder, we have a late start on next Wednesday, February 4th. Doors will open at 11:15, the first bell is at 11:30 and the tardy bell is at 11:35.
Picture day is on February 6th. These are for classroom pictures so all classes will have their group photo taken. Individual photos are optional for this one. Don’t forget to plan ahead as there is no school on Friday the 13th or Monday the 16th.
Have a great weekend!

Nominate an Educator for our school’s Educator of the Year!
The St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation is thrilled to announce that the Celebration of Excellence nomination form opens on January 12th! This cherished annual event honors outstanding educators from every St. Vrain school who exemplify excellence in their roles and make extraordinary contributions to student success.
We invite students, parents, volunteers, fellow educators, school staff, community members, and business partners to nominate exceptional educators who inspire, innovate, and shape the future. In order to qualify, nominees must be licensed educators in the State of Colorado and employed at a St. Vrain Valley Schools campus for the current school year. Educators who received their school’s Educator of the Year honor within the past two years are not eligible.
Based on your nominations, one educator from each St. Vrain Valley school will be selected as their school’s Educator of the Year. These honorees will be recognized during the Celebration of Excellence on April 10, 2026, where a district-wide Educator of the Year will also be announced.
Nominations are open January 12 through February 1. Don’t miss this opportunity to recognize the educators who make a lasting impact in our schools and community!
Submit your nomination today: https://stvrainfoundation.org/programs/celebration-of-excellence/
