Welcome to Erie Elementary, a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Focus School. My name is Lauren Eker, and I have the privilege of serving as principal of Erie Elementary.

I have been an educator for 27 wonderful years. I was a classroom teacher for 13 years, a district coordinator for 4 years, and an assistant principal for one year.  I have been the principal at Erie Elementary for 9 years.

I am a Colorado native and have lived in Erie for the past 23 years with my husband Jacob. Our children are 17 and 20. We love camping as a family and watching movies. In my free time I enjoy training for and running marathons and half marathons.
